Our stay at the Legian was remarkable. To be fair, I have stayed at multiple 5 star rated resorts in the US and Caribbean and our experience here blew the others away. We actually ended up extending our stay by another two nights because we didn't want to leave. If you are able, I absolutely recommend staying in one of the private villas. We stayed in a number of hotels in Ubud, Kuta and Gilis, and this was by far the most outstanding. Simply put you get what you pay for here. We took the room across the road and it made little difference to the comfort and convenience of our stay. The room itself is beautifully laid out and the decor excellent. Amazing experience! Great staff. They were very friendly and were able to help with all my requests. They even go out and buy basic essentials for you if requested. Rooms look great! I like how they basic living room opens up to the pool. The feel of the place made me and my friends feel like we were actually on vacation and not just visiting.
