Lovely resort in the Yasawas. We loved our beachfront buree with its own designated daybed and beach chairs. The meal plan was not optional and would probably have preferred to have had the choice. The Japanese restaurant (Donu) was fantastic and the chefs were all very focussed and professional! Food art is the best description!! Day spa was awesome too

A picture perfect slice of heaven. Water was crystal clear and excellent snorkelling immediately in front of the resort. Bure was tidy and comfortable. No aircon which wasn’t an issue at the time that we stayed as the weather was lovely and not too hot. The staff were amazing, could not be more helpful and hospitable in every way. Kids club was small but my 8 yr old had the best time due to the wonderful staff. Food was good with a decent amount of variety. Would highly recommend and intend to be back again.

Absolutely amazing beach and location! Stayed for 5 night in points villa #3, what a lovely accommodation! Resort property is charming and well maintained. We did not have any issues and concerns, even it was a bit a construction close to a restaurant and second bar was closed, that did not bother us it all. Great dining options, dinner is a like a cruise ship style with chef's specials and all dishes are well presented. All staff is extremely friendly. Special thanks to all service stuff for keeping our villa spotless, main Chef who was making sure we had a great lobster dinner (ordered separately) experience and guys from dive shop who provided a seamless boat tender transportation and snorkeling trips (I definitely recommend night snorkeling). I will absolutely recommend Octopus resort to my family and friends!

The Octopus Resort far exceeded our expectations. The resort staff are wonderful! I had the most memorable birthday on the beach. The kava ceremony was fun and entertaining. Snorkeling with my 6 year old right off the beach was incredible. The hike to the top of the island was insanely beautiful and a fun challenge. Netball might be my new favorite sport. The food was very good. A lot more variety than we expected. The visit to the village and school was incredibly special. The children were so friendly and sweet. What a magical life it must be to grow up in such a beautiful place. We are so happy that we chose to stay there. Vinaka Vinaka Vinaka!

Clean, comfortable room with a lovely staff. I was a little surprised that the bungalows didn’t have a private bathroom though. I would have expected this at the rate that was charged. I was also surprised that there was no shampoo in the shared bathroom and hair dryers were not in the room or bathroom. I was able to get a hair dryer from the staff but some of these items weren’t really highlighted in Expedia’s description. Expedia also didn’t mention the meal plan. The food was very good but expensive. Overall my stay was good but the description on Expedia was missing some details and I wouldn’t classify this as a 5 star resort.

Beach bar was under constraction during our stay, daily from 8:00 am to 5 pm. Restaurant, pool, beach areas were all involved with construction noise. The worst thing is: We got no information about this before check-in. There was only a short sorry for this.

Il resort si trova in un luogo incantevole, su una lunga spiaggia di sabbia con intorno una fitta foresta, davanti ad un splendido mare e con un tramonto spettacolare. Il cibo è buono, al ristorante Donu la sera sublime. Quello che ci é piaciuto meno è la possibilità molto limitato di lettini in spiaggia per chi non ha un Bure direttamente fronte mare. La gente già la mattina presto metteva l’asciugamano e mi ha confermato la mia idea di resort, di livello medio. Il nostro Bure giardino infatti era molto buio, aveva un odore strano e se pur siamo nei tropici, in stanza usciva di ogni possibile insetto, non appena diventava buio. Comprendiamo e l’abbiamo vissuto in altri posti, ma di certo non è paragonabile come struttura, all’altra albergo dello stesso proprietario Paradise Cove, che era molto più curato, bello e moderno. Sopratutto paragonando tra i due resort prezzo e prestazione qua non ci siamo proprio. Inoltre, e questo è una informazione importante, a persona si paga circa 75€ a notte per la pensione completa obbligatoriamente. Nella nostra prenotazione non era scritto, ma una volta arrivati si é obbligati ad aderire. Questo non è molto professionale. Anche il fatto che non si può fare nessuna passeggiata tranne sulla spiaggia al di fuori del resort in autonomia, come viaggiatori liberi, ci ha disturbato. Nell’insieme, se pur é stato piacevole, altri resort da noi visitati in queste oltre tre settimane di viaggio alle isole Fiji ci sono piaciuti molto di più,

Bra resort med riktig bra frukost

vi bodde i bungalow på ca 25 kvm. Vi fick egen bungalow, men hade köket och disk nära som kunde höras tidig morgon. Matsal hade sand på golvet som stack ut och gav känsla. Man kan ”reservera” egna bord vilket jag tycker man skall göra. Frukost var mycket bra, fräscht och många olika alternativ. Ägg gjordes på stående beställning. Olika aktiviter. Pool och bar. Öl 10 FJD, milkshake 12 FJD. Wi-fi fungerade dåligt men gratis. Man fick sitta utanför reception för bästa täckning.sanden på stranden extremt fin och skön. Korallrev har tyvärr dött men färgglada fiskar och såg liten stingrocka.
