Perfect location for tourist and ride bus/ subway.

Lots of activities supplied by or arranged by the hotel. We went to the Tengo Porteno show for which they buy our tickets. Excellent show and meal. Hotel staff wonderful and speak English. Luggage storage if needed, but our room was ready early! Lots of mirrors in room-- nice

Below average

The room was not warm enough to sleep even adding extra blanket I still woke up at 4.30am due to the coldness. In fact, more than half of the roommates requested extra blankets for sleeping. I changed to another small dorm after 3 freezing nights. Room temperature was better but still not good enough for a good sleep. Finally, I needed to move to another hostel and found some quality sleep.

É um hotel bastante confortável, porém os funcionários não sabem tratar bem os clientes. Me aconteceu de eu me confundir de quarto e uma das funcionárias me tratar com bastante grosseria, insinuando que eu queria levar vantagem em cima do hotel. Respeito e empatia 0.

Great base to explore Buenos Aires

Milhouse is a piece of backpacking industry. Avenue is a big hostel, slightly quieter compared to the sister hostel Hipo, which is more party-oriented. The guests can freely move between the common spaces of both hostels, party in one, sleep in the other one. There are several features that make Milhouse a good base for exploring Buenos Aires. The hostel organizes walking tours in various parts of the city. The guests can book tickets to events (e.g. a tango show, La Bomba de Tiempo, and many other activities). There is a travel desk at Avenue, good if you will explore Argentina further. Another cool feature is a stripe-code sticker that you get when you check in. Easy to pay for breakfast and drinks at both Milhouse hostels, perfect during a party. Some rooms face a patio, some face the street. Mine was towards the street and therefore noisy. One should use ear plugs. The room was shabbish, but ok. The bathroom needs a makeover.

Styr unna!

Rommet stinket og var fullt av mugg. Klaget til resepsjonen og direkte til hotels.com. Vi hadde kjøpt en lokal øl og en halvflakse bobler. Dette ble tatt fra oss i resepsjonen fordi hostellet visstnok har policy om at det ikke er lov med medbrakt alkohol (selv uåpnet!). Når vi skulle forlate hostellet, mistet vi nesten transporten vår til flyplassen fordi de ansatte ønsket å se kvittering for utsjekk. Vi hadde nettopp sjekket ut, ikke mottatt noe og heller ikke kjøpt noe på hostellet da dobbeltrommet vårt var forhåndsbetalt. Oppholdet var et mareritt!
