The perfect mountain getaway

We had the best stay at the Outpost Inn. This family owned Inn was so cozy. The attention to detail was incredible. We loved the onsite coffee and wine bar. We will definitely be back! Couldn’t recommend more.

What a great spot. We felt the vibes right away as we pulled up and were greeted by Alex who was at the front desk. We loved the communal atmosphere and had some great conversations with other folks staying there on the common room. The bed was comfy and the room was awesome. We loved that it was a little off the main drag, but close enough to walk. I’m definitely going to recommend to others. Thanks y’all!

The room has too many stuff, don’t have enough space. Floor Insulation is bad, on the first floor, you hear every step walking on the second floor. I was woke up by the step sound.

Cozy getaway!

Even though the room was very small we still loved it, it was quiet and cozy. The bed was very comfortable, great quality t.v. The water pressure in the shower was awesome! We also loved the fireplace. The driveway is in desperate need of repairs. Great location for downtown Highlands. We would definitely stay here again

This property has potential but missed the mark on some basic things. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom looked like it had been recently remodelled- nice fixtures and good water pressure. Cute and could be great. First room fireplace didn’t work so moved to another room. The shower curtain didn’t reach the floor so water went everywhere. No caffeine coffee and owner wouldn’t buy any so ha to go buy my own kcups.

Beware. Had a reservation for over 3 months for 2 rooms. They called with less than 24 hours notice to cancel one of the rooms due to renovations. They relocated me to another property that was not even close to a comparable property and did offer a free stay in the future, but did not help for the stay we had planned.

Wedding Guest Suite

We had a great time at the Outpost! We stayed in room 11, it was very cute. No big issues, rated a 4 because of a few small things. We left for the day and did not put the ‘do not disturb’ or ‘cleaning service requested’ door hanger in the outside of the door but our room was entered and cleaned while we were gone. Didn’t expect that for just a 2-night stay. There is a small couch for sitting but it doesn’t look very clean, just had one stain but I didn’t feel comfortable using it. The bed is located a little bit awkwardly between 2 walls making it difficult to get up and down. I would stay here again! Those were just thing I would have wanted to know ahead of time. Oh, and there isn’t anyone available after 6 if you need anything but the checkin process was super easy and convenient.

Large holes in back driveway. No I mean absolutely no customer service support! Once you check in your on your own if anything is wrong with your room. No free tv at all. Our tv was broken and no once answers the phones. No front desk. Some of the lights were blown out. Again no one to call that will call back or answer. Definitely not as advertised!

We had a beautiful room but no one was in the office when we went to check in. Before we ever arrived I called to confirm and they said we hadn’t paid our full amount, which I had the receipt with the confirmation number and iteanrry number as well. When we took a shower the bath room floor got soaked because the water was just flowing out of the shower. I had higher hopes for this place. I do not think we will be back. And it was our first vacation alone together as girlfriend and boyfriend for Valentine's weekend at that. We paid over $500 for two nights and I was extremely disappointed. Not to mention my significant other fell and bruised his elbow because the outside lights on the side of the facility didn’t work.
