This was a lovely little treasure, very near the old town of Split. We loved the cleanliness, charm, breakfast, etc. The only drawbacks were that it was very difficult to find it with GPS (we also had a car to park- parking was free but streets are challenging to navigate) & lugging our luggage up & down the stairs (both inside & out)… but it is to be expected in Europe!

This boutique hotel worked perfectly for our three nights in Spilt. It is so convenient and easy to get to from the ferry terminal/train station. It was a 3 minute walk to the market and then into the palace walls. As I watched people dragging their suitcases through the palace looking for their accommodations I was so thankful I was staying where I was. The communication from the staff was excellent and their attentiveness to requests was outstanding. The breakfast served in the courtyard was just right and I appreciate their effort to avoid waste. If I were to return to Split and needed lodging I would definitely stay here again. THANKS!

We had a wonderful stay at Balatura Luxury homes! The rooms were comfortable, and beautifully designed with a perfect location. Everything in walking distance. The hosts are incredibily kind and hostile, a special thanks to Mia , who shared the story about Diocletianus and some other special things! The breakfast was amazing with everything "home coocked". We hope to stay here again!

It was a 10 minute walk from the old town, which I loved. With all the cruise ships in town, this was a quiet, charming oasis. The room was excellent. Great shower and super clean. The room overall was well laid out and comfortable. Everything was spotless and a well stocked minibar. Staff was kind and attentive. I loved this place!

The Balatura was a delight from the moment. I walked onto the property until I left. It was clean and beautiful and done in such a tasteful way. Everyone was polite and made me feel welcome. It was convenient to the city center and to the Harbor. It was slightly difficult to find in the uniquely, winding all streets, but well worth the effort.
