The location was the best part. Staff behind concierge desk were useless and performed switch and bait for using tbe cab. Charging $7 for olives at tbeir bar should say it all for what they are about. Crumbs were throughout the room. At nearly $400 a night i expected better. Favorite thing was the towel heater. The Hotel Monte Cenci is Bellissimo! The hotel is wonderfully situated to many of Rome’s highlighted sights. And to be able to walk within minutes to beautiful Trastevere is just wonderful. The front desk staff is very helpful but I need to point out Simone, who truly went out of his way to make our week stay delightful. We had mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary on this trip and we greeted with a lovely welcome card and a delightful towel arrangement. Grazie Mille to The Hotel Monte Cenci and Arrivederci!
