Our room had not been cleaned upon our arrival. It was almost an hour before we could get in the room. The suite was spacious and the ac was great. It was only a block and a half into the shopping dining area which was super convenient. Wonderful little chowder house right next door where we had lunch. The room did lack some basic necessities. There was only one plate and I drinking glass. Plenty of wine glasses!! They have a cute private courtyard where you could have your coffee or afternoon happy hour and meet some other guests. We would stay here again.

While the room was incredibly clean, bedding and pillows fresh, shower immaculate, some of the towels smelled like bacteria/mildew. I had to dry on a t-shirt. Room is plain with outdated decor which does not match the summery exterior. No breakfast, no manager on site, self check-in. Location just a few blocks from everything is a plus, though. Fine parking in back, no need to move the car throughout visit to the area.

The room was clean but it could use a real coffee maker. The one there is tiny and plastic and did not make drinkable coffee. Also, the area outside patio and entrance to suite is slanted, and outside area is a bit in need of updating and care. The location is fantastic and otherwise all was good.

New favorite spot to stay in Mt. Dora! From booking, through, check in, and during the entire stay, a well executed and curated space. For a historic building they've done a great job to make it comfortable. Shower is a bit tight as a result, but otherwise all perfect!

If you are looking for a cozy place to stay in Mt. Dora the Heirloom Inn is perfect! We only had one night but since everything is walking distance we got to do so much in a short time. Fun shops and excellent restaurant right there! We loved it. Very kind and responsive property manager which was an added bonus. Hope to be back!
