This is an older place, basic room but THE cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Easy walk into town. Not too many amenities on site which was fine. Table under tree was great for playing cards or sitting to enjoy the weather. Staff was friendly and always ready to help. Highly recommend.

Pros: Clean, decent size room, comfortable beds, quiet location, walking distance to downtown, has all basic amenities in the room that you would expect (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, toiletries, etc.) Cons: No elevator if you have heavy luggage, ice maker across parking lot, no breakfast or even a place to get an already made cup of coffee that we saw. The motel meets basic needs for sleeping and showering but is an older style motor inn. Jackson is an expensive place to stay overall and doesn’t have your typical chain hotel options; however we stayed at another place in Jackson comparable in price that was more functional and included more amenities. Not trying to disparage this motel. It’s a good place to stay if you are into a basic and retro style, just not our preference for the price.

We had a great stay the Golden Eagle Inn! We rented the house and it was perfect for our family of 5. It had wonderful amenities including a full kitchen and laundry.
