Coral Beach Hotel is located at the scenic end of Mirissa Beach. It's right on the water, and some rooms have excellent views out over Mirissa and out to sea. The Cafe at Beach level is delightful and we spent a good amount of time there watching the waves and the surfers. It's a handy location, with good transport options, lots of cafes and bars, and a very pleasant walk along the beach to the main resort area of Mirissa Beach. In the other direction is Secret Beach, well worth a visit. It's relaxing to stay there for a couple of days. Make sure you secure a room with sea views.

Lovely seaside hotel

Amazing location overlooking Coral Beach which is a nice quieter end of Mirissa beach enjoyed by locals. The room was very clean but the air con dripped a lot creating pools of water on the floor and the bathroom was incredible hot and humid as it has a vent to the outdoors and a heavy door so the aircon can’t flow in. Really lovely staff and a fantastic restaurant downstairs.

Hotel was fine. Staff were great. Location is great. But if you value sleep before midnight or have an early start, this is not the place for you. There’s a beach club nearby that plays music very late into the night. And it’s not just “loud music” you can block out. The bass literally resonates through the building, through the floor, through the bed, and straight into your brain. No amount of earplugs, pillows over the head, or wishful thinking is stopping that. On top of that, the room I stayed in had an opaque glass door with no curtain, so all the lights from the trees, bars, and hotel lighting outside shine straight into the room all night. It’s effectively like trying to sleep in daylight. The best way I can describe the experience is this: it’s like lying in the middle of a festival field, wired, in daylight, with your ear to the ground next to the speakers, trying to sleep. I had a 4am start for a safari, I ended up with only a couple hours’ sleep. Unfortunately, it was the same situation the night before as well. But if you want rest, recovery, or any kind of decent night’s sleep, I’d strongly recommend staying somewhere quieter.

Sehr schöne Lage am Strand gelegen und Personal auch freundlich! Sehr ärgerlich, jede Nacht bis 3.00 Uhr laute Musik und Wochenende sogar bis 6.00 morgens, Vorhänge kann man nicht ganz zu ziehen, sodass um halb 7 schon die sonne reinscheint, wird richtig heiss dass zimmer, dass man nicht mehr schlafen kann

Hotel and staff are rundown and tired.

We got the super deluxe room. It was the best spot. Room 10. Ground floor overlooking the ocean. But the AC didn't work so it was sticky and damp. We had difficulties checking in and out. They seemed to have no idea. The bar if it was open never had what you want. Like cold beer. Breakfast was included but really quite poor. Great location at the end of the beach. We had good food and cold beers at plenty of places up the beach. I think next door at Seabreeze Surf Hotel be a better place to stay at same price. But if you could get this hotel for $10/night it'd be worth it. We paid $50/night at "special" discount. And I didn't feel it value for money
