Our room was on the 5th floor up several flights of spiral stairs. We had backpacks, so this was manageable, but we avoided too many trips back to the room. The bed was in a loft with an angled roof. The balcony was charming with a view over rooftops to the Dom. Some noise from the beer halls was still audible even on the 5th floor. Space was tight but the storage was creative. Everything was very clean and staff cleaned and refreshed towels during the stay. The bathroom was modern and efficient.

Had a great stay. The location is fantastic: Less than a block from the Alter Markt and 5-8 minute walk to the Kölner Dom. My room was clean and comfortable. A couple of things…There is no elevator so be prepared to haul your luggage up flights of stairs. Second, the rooms are very comfortable but they are not large. As a single person it was fine for me but for two adults with a decent amount of luggage it may feel a little tight

The hotel was very nice overall. The rooms were very modern, clean, and well maintained. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town, Alter Markt and the Rhine just a few steps away. The breakfast was very good, served in the adjoining cafe. The only minor issue was the lack of full time reception staff which made check in and out a slight hassle.

I understand it’s a VERY small boutique hotel, but Reception could be a little more present or easier to reach/accessible when a guest needs to inquire about check-out or luggage storage. Great little place, right in the centre of the action. Only gripe was no air con & it was quite a warm couple of nights. The fans were certainly needed. Great little cafe for breakfast downstairs too
