Shower does not drain, mold in shower. Insects and water in room due to poor windows. Wifi was poor but the staff fixed that, the breakfast was excellent. The staff were helpful when you can find them.

Nice Hotel Within Steps of Beach

Very clean hotel, spacious rooms, decent bathrooms with shower. Our rooms on the third floor overlooked street below and had great view of the ocean. There is a nice common patio on the second floor. Made-to-order breakfast was included. In center of town, near all tour meeting spots, restaurants etc. Good value.

Close to the beach

Hotel Volcano is in a great location close to shopping, food, and the beach. We had a lovely stay here and the included breakfast was great. We had some difficulty booking from outside the country though. Even through I booked through hotels.com, they made me call and pay with my card by phone which I didn’t feel comfortable with. In the end everything worked out but I booked through hotels.com to avoid putting my card info out there.

Great stay but a hiccup

Great stay and friendly staff however I did have one hiccup. I got the correct charge on my credit card for three nights, but also have an extra $60 charge that I don’t.understand where it came from. Tried contacting them via email and have not heard back.

They “upgraded” us to their beachfront property down the road which was nice - upon arrival we paid & they ended up charging one card and pre authorizing another card, when then they also charged - so we’ve double paid & been over a week and haven’t got our money back. So pay on Expedia before if you can because they don’t seem to know how to work their machines.

Alem de ter água; chá e café na recepção à vontade a equipe toda foi super atenciosa e absurdamente prestativa! Amei I highly recommend it! Besides being in a very central location, the hotel is extremely clean and cozy. The beds are large and spacious! The breakfast is incredible—very complete and absolutely delicious! They also offer complimentary water, tea, and coffee at the reception. The entire staff was incredibly attentive and extremely helpful! I loved it! ¡Lo recomiendo muchísimo! Además de estar en una zona muy céntrica, el hotel es extremadamente limpio y acogedor. ¡Las camas son grandes y espaciosas! El desayuno es increíble, muy completo y delicioso. Very comfortable hotel with wonderful beach view

This is a very nice hotel which is conveniently located to restaurants and shops as while as the beach. The air conditioning was a plus for very hot days, but the windows and beach views were wonderful. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

Receptionist, Elizabeth, was amazing. They offered cool towels & juice upon arrival. Room was very clean, quiet, good a/c. Free breakfast included everyday, they even packed a to-go breakfast on our last day as we left before breakfast started. Good location within walking distance to everything.

Goods and bads

Wonderful, warm welcome by Sofia, who gave us good tips and helped with some special requests. Less impressed by the boy at reception the day after, who scolded us for using their cold towels to freshen up. Room well appointed but noisy from the cooling units outside our window. Overall was expecting more for the price paid (90$)
