Came up here for a long-weekend trip at Sunday River. This place is right near the mountain, and has a shuttle bus from the parking lot to the mountain that runs every 30 min or so. We were there from a Friday-the following Tuesday. There was a nice "hang-out" spot on the 2nd floor, stocked with board games, books, and had a nice fire going. There is also a locker to put your skis, but unfortunately, the boots do not fit into the lockers. From Friday-Sunday, there were numerous staff around to assist guests, as well as a promptly re-stocked hot drink station, along with muffins in the morning and cookies in the afternoon. From Monday-Tuesday, there was not front desk staff present, and you had to call a different numbner in order to get assistance. The hot drink station was also barren, and there were no muffins or cookies as previously mentioned. I would have liked for those treats to have been present during the weekdays as well as the weekend days. I would have also liked more frequent housekeeping services, since they only came 1x throughout our 4-night stay.
