An excellent place for the price point. I was greeted warmly by the staffer and given a larger room because it was the only first floor room left -- very welcome to someone with a wobbly knee. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate. There are many signs of age in worn surfaces and older furnishings but everything was clean. Bring a sleep mask as only blinds cover the windows and some light can come in, in my case from the person who had their car headlights on next to my room for a couple of hours -- be considerate; it doesn't cost you anything. The beach looked great -- the weather wasn't conducive to using it on this trip. Go left from the motel on Rt. 9 for a mile or so and you will find a charming downtown with a great bookstore and a coffee shop next to each other: Cornerstone Books and the Koffee Kat.

I told them we got married that day and they had rose petals and a nice bottle of wine and two glasses for us. We got a room on the end so the sunset view in the morning was gorgeous! It was clean and a big room for an incredible rate!
