The hotel is the perfect location for catching the Blue Star Ferry at the port. It is a cheap hotel room with a Tv, air conditioning, and a few windows. The room could be cleaner for sure but was super easy to check in and out.

I stayed here for 1 night to have a place before our cruise that left the next day. When we got there the female who checked us in was very kind and warming with her greeting. Unfortunately the stay only got worse from that moment on. Not only did our entire room and bathroom smell like an ash tray, the air conditioning unit did not work at all. Also we were woken up at around 3 in the morning to the male who was working the overnight shift talking, laughing, and yelling at what seemed to be the top of his lungs to his friends for about 45 minutes straight. Could not sleep through that noise, plus the added heat in the room due to no air conditioning working, and the smell of week old ash tray filling the room. At one point we even contemplated just going straight to the dock and just sleeping in the transfer area. This was by the far the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had and will never recommend anyone to stay here again.

Run down with some broken tiles etc but clean. Clean sheets and towels. For us, as a last night close to the airport metro and bus it was perfect. The elevator is up two flights of stairs and the reception one so not great for physically hindered people.

The front desk staff were not accommodating at all and acted like they didn't want to be there. There were stains on a few of the pillows, holes in the walls in the bathroom, and the window was covered up. The only saving grace for this hotel was the location from the port, but 45ish euros was still far too much.

After reading the other reviews, I was a bit worried about my stay. But, as I just needed a good sleep after a long ferry ride, and an early morning flight, this place was fine. It was an ideal location for catching the metro to the airport and for arriving late from the ferry. Sheets were clean, shower had great pressure, the staff person was helpful and stayed at the front desk all night. It was just what I needed for a quick one night stay.

We stayed at Ion Hotel for one night before our cruise and it was a great choice. The location is very convenient — just a 10-minute walk from the metro with a direct connection from the airport. The hotel is clean and comfortable, perfect for a short stay. If you’re heading to cruise terminal B or C, as we were, I recommend taking an Uber. One tip: bring an adapter, since the room only has European plugs and no USB ports. Nothing fancy, but just what you need for a night.

It’s about what I expected, in the 5-6 range. Small room that was in need of some maintenance, but very close to the port and the Metro, so very useful. If you are picky or sensitive, it may not be for you. If you just need a quick place to go for a night, it should be fine.

Le seul avantage de cet hôtel aura été son emplacement près du port et son prix pour la nuit. Pour le reste,… escaliers raides avant l’expérience de l’ascenseur sans porte de protection et qui fonctionne mais pour combien de temps encore ? Chambre grande mais trop de lits pour 1 seul voyageur. Lumière fade. Aucune vue extérieure malgré 2 fenêtres. Carrelage au sol douteux. Odeur de cigarette d’ailleurs présence d’un cendrier sur la table. Télévision qui ne capte pas. Code Wifi effacé sur la porte de l’ascenseur mais une fois trouvé qui fonctionne. Grand frigo mais bruyant. Salle de bain laide. Rideau de douche douteux, décoration général vieille et moche. Vraiment pas l’hôtel de l’année.
