Staying at The Grand on MacFie allows immersing yourself in exceptional comfort for a reasonable price. When return to Devonport, will stay in The Grand as it was the high point of our lodging during our trip to Tasmania. Breakfasts are a delight, a five-star dining experience. It is convenient to the ferry terminal and a short walk to shopping and restaurants. Cradle Mountain and Narawntapu National Park are easily visited on a day trip.

Our hosts (Paul and Brendan) provided helpful travel advice, took time to accommodate our needs, printed our travel documents, made our dinner reservations, made & served a wonderful breakfast and are truly nice people. Absolutely loved The Grand - old world charm lovingly restored and furnished beautifully, sympathetic to the era. The hosts are warm, friendly, very hospitable and informative. We had a great sleep because the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast is exceptional - I'm sorry we will miss the next High Tea. We don't usually B&B, but will more often now, Thank you Paul and Brenden, you are excellent hosts! I want to come back.
