Clean room and the renovated large washroom was nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great central location and walkable to many tourist spots. Nice roof top terrace. We had a very nice stay at Casual Del Teatro Madrid. The staff were polite, friendly, and always helpful, which made us feel welcome from the start. Our room had a large balcony with a great view, and it was a real highlight of the stay — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Good and reasonably priced hotel located very centrally within a 3 min walk to the Sol metro station and the cosy and busy restaurant and shopping areas. The area felt safe for women. Clean and rather large rooms with everything you needed, except a safety box in the room. Comfy beds. It has a roof top terrace where you can have breakfast when weather allows. Good food and a decent selection on the breakfast buffe for a 2-star hotel. Friendly staff in the breakfast restaurant and reception. The only negative is that it is located on a narrow but rather busy street where a lot of people pass by to bars and restaurants and many people are loud, so it can be quite noisy during evenings and nights if you have a room facing the street. We stayed in March, so guess it can be a lot noiser during the busy season.
