It was a really good stay. The hotel is at walking distance from all the places you’d want to see in Madrid Center. The staff was friendly, especially the breakfast girl with great energy and attitude and Pilar.

First of all, this is a 2 star hotel, if they charge 2 star price it will be ok. But seems they are a little bit over priced. Secondly, reception staff is good and polite, helpful, this is important to a tourist. But the room is old, and the windows are old and just single layer, expect you will hear drunken peoples yelling during 12-4 am every night, plus sirens from police and ambulances. It is near to city centre, I will recommend if you stay here for a short period of time for convincing, but not more than a few days. You may have not enough sleep due to the noise. The breakfast room is small, do not expect a big breakfast there, but a simple coffee and a bread. You may take a rest and eat outside. So, again if charge 2 star price it is worth. But not over priced.

I love how friendly the staff were as soon as you come in and check in. I also love how fluent they were in English as well. The breakfast was delicious and flavorful and love the staff and how affectionately cheerful they are to help start your day. The feel of the hotel makes it feel like you are staying in an apartment like a local. It may seem hidden but it is close by every thing.

The location is perfect! Breakfast was good. The staff are friendly and helpful. Sofabeds could use a little update, the springs hurt the back and the air conditioners are very loud. Otherwise no complaints! Price point was very reasonable.

As a family that appreciates history, culture and design, we selected this hotel for its unique thematic approach but also for its central location. But the experience exceeded our expectations. although the hotel is modest, its ambiance is unique. We totally enjoyed the theatrical room experience; but discovering a rooftop terrace for our sunset with views of the city rooftops as well as life below on the streets-was priceless. Breakfast was fresh and healthy, and service was exceptional. We re-booked our next visit already ;)

Clean room and the renovated large washroom was nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great central location and walkable to many tourist spots. Nice roof top terrace. Unfortunately i did not take advantage of the 8 euro buffet breakfast since I was only there for 1 night. I would stay there again.

We had a very nice stay at Casual Del Teatro Madrid. The staff were polite, friendly, and always helpful, which made us feel welcome from the start. Our room had a large balcony with a great view, and it was a real highlight of the stay — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The hotel is well located and comfortable, and overall it was a great experience. We would happily stay here again.
