Perfect location 30 mins drive from SouthEast side of mount Etna, perfect for relaxing evening after a day of hiking. Parking included. We were surprised to find multiple good local restaurants within 20 mins of walking even if this small town (Milo) for dinner. Staff exceptionally friendly. Rooms are renovated but the kitchen/living room is not; think old country house setting. We did not plan on hanging out in the common areas therefore did not affect us. Breakfast was decent (cappuccino, cake, bread and salami). Overall good value for price but would not stay more than 1 night.

B&B about 1/4 up Mount Etna. The draw for me was the location; about a half hr by car to the north side peak access (Piano Provenzana). Quiet, secluded, location with gated parking. They have a good system to give you anytime access without needing coordination (remote for gate) once checked in. Very generous, substantial breakfast (cold cuts, cooked egg, toast -- not just a single Cornetto as many other places). Decor is spartan but functional. Some things are a little dated but it is a house in the mountains. Milo is also pretty quiet -- I was there on a weekend but there was a festival and most of the few restaurants were closed. Google routed me to the wrong address and you won't see the sign if you come up from Giarre directly (the sign is more visible coming from Milo). My host spoke little English (and I spoke less Italian) but he was attentive and helpful and went the extra mile when I discovered that my two-prong Europe plug did not work in Sicily. I would definitely stay again if I ever return to Etna.

Séjour effectué le week‑end de mon anniversaire, où nous espérions simplement nous reposer.À l’arrivée, malgré un accueil très agréable, la chambre présentait immédiatement une odeur d’humidité et de moisissure extrêmement forte. Les murs montraient clairement des tentatives de peinture pour masquer des infiltrations, sans succès.Nous avions réservé une chambre avec douche hydromassante, mais il n’y avait même pas de pommeau de douche, rendant l’équipement totalement inutilisable.La literie était inconfortable, les draps élimés, les serviettes usées, et la salle de bain ne contenait qu’un gel douche basique, aucun shampooing, ce qui est très surprenant pour une chambre à environ 100 € la nuit.L’odeur d’humidité était si oppressante que j’ai à peine dormi, alors que nous étions venus pour nous reposer.Nous avons demandé un remboursement pour la seconde nuit, mais le propriétaire a refusé, malgré l’évidence de la non‑conformité de la chambre. Une autre chambre nous a été proposée : certes plus grande, mais toujours avec odeur d’humidité, draps élimés, et les mêmes problèmes d’équipement.Nous ne nous sommes jamais sentis en confort durant ce séjour.Au vu de la non‑conformité, de l’insalubrité, et du préjudice subi, nous demandons un remboursement de ces deux nuits.

Maison très charmante et reposante, Moussa et Luca le petit chat nous ont super bien accueilli ! Le logement était très confortable et le petit-déjeuner copieux. Déception pour la chambre.

L'endroit est charmant, et l'accueil agréable. En revanche, notre chambre (cheminée) n'avait pas d'ouverture extérieure (une petite fenêtre donne sur un réduit intérieur abritant les machines à laver), donnait directement dans la salle commune (bruit le matin de bonne heure), et notre douche était bloquée sur eau brûlante sans aucune autre possibilité. Nous avons donc annulé la deuxième nuit prévue. Rien à dire sur l'accueil reçu qui était comme écrit plus haut très cordial.
