The White Moose Inn is quiet, calm, nicely appointed, clean as a whistle and has very helpful staff. The communication and responsiveness from the time I made the reservation to the time we departed was superb. Bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast yummy and generous. The Inn is also well situated in the middle of Washington Virginia, a stone's throw from Michelin-star holding Inn at Little Washington, walking distance to some lovely shops and galleries, and an easy drive through beautiful countryside to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Wonderful room, with a huge, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The check-in was very quick as we had dinner reservations at the nearby (1-block walk) Inn at Little Washington. The breakfast space was warm and welcoming, with a fruit and granola parfait, followed by a tasty quiche. The White Moose Inn hit all the high points and certainly will be a repeat reservation for a future trip!

Second time staying here. It’s a block from The Inn at Little Washington, and a far more reasonably-priced accommodation if you are dining there. James, the property manager, was terrific, both with confirming our reservation in advance, and providing a warm welcome upon our arrival. Coffee, tea, sodas and snacks are available at all hours. Our room was super clean and cozy, with thoughtful touches like terry robes, 2 suitcase racks, and nice Moulton Brown amenities in the bathroom. The very comfortable king bed had crisp white linens and a wonderful duvet. The lovely breakfast included a fruit and granola yogurt parfait followed by a delicious slice of quiche — perfect after our big meal at the Inn the night before. I highly recommend this property!!

Barb the manager was beyond fantastic! From the moment we arrived she took care of our every need and helped us to plan a fun and delicious visit to the area.
