This is an inn mostly intended for hikers / adventurers that come to Keene Valley for outdoor activities. It is warm and welcoming and has a shared kitchen and other spaces in addition to the small, sweet rooms. I would recommend it for people not seeking luxury, but rather a very warm and cozy spot where the outdoor adventure is steps away.

This is a very cosy place, it seems to attract people with a passion for the environment and outdoor activity. It is a good place to reminisce with other people. The rooms are nicely decorated, nicely decorated, rustic, and very comfortable.

Loved the room, and having the Keurig right there was a bonus. Did not love the loud women having a conversation in the hall at 9:30 P.M. (one of whom may have been an employee, from what I could tell). Quiet time hours might be a good idea. I'm guessing I'm not the only one trying to get to sleep for an early hike in the morning.

Lovely and cozy place

This was a lovely place to stay in the Adirondacks and was close to many trails. The place was clean and cozy, and although the bathrooms were shared with other guests, there were enough and it was never an issue. The owner and staff were also very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again when we're in the area and would recommend it!

What a gem

What a great find, would stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware which was a bonus. Great location too for ease of access to trailheads.
