Used the hotel as a base to visit the Seven Stanes biking, so a perfect location, couldn't fault the hotel, and a good breakfast to start the day. Staff and room excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Had an overnight stay , warm welcome lovely bar area great for sport , outside area was lovely, shame it had rained would have nice to have sat out there. We had the choice to eat in the bar or restaurant, we chose the restaurant which was small and cosy, the food was amazing, Blair the waiter is a credit to the hotel very pleasant as were the rest of the staff , thanks for a lovely stay

Despite not looking too appealing initially from the roadside, this was really pleasant stay. Evening meal was great and staff happy to help with anything. Definitely recommend.

Small, clean room and ensuite. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No car park, but parking on the road nearby. Good choice of cooked breakfast, but limited choice of healthy options - some yoghurt and fruit would have been nice.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Very good shower which was in the actual room but didn't steam up everywhere, separate toilet room. Staff great from check-in to check-out. Great evening meal & breakfast here. Parking easy. A park & woods both nearby. Would recommend staying here.

Friendly staff but a bit slapdash at breakfast, rooms comfortable but south facing rooms need a portable aircon unit when warmer outside as the room was stiflingly hot despite window open and fan on. Excellent food which we could not fault for two nights dinner.

Hotel had recently been updated so everything was new and clean. We had breakfast included in our room rate and this was excellent every day from the Full Scottish breakfast to the omelettes and poached eggs on toast. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. Parking is also free across the road in the car park.

Staff were amazing, the hotel could do with a freshen up in the corridors but when things were wrong in the room the staff were dead helpful. Nice area too.

A very good hotel, with motorcycle parking right outside. The staff were very good, the rooms are very clean and in excellent condition. Breakfast was good, and cooked fresh to order. The hotel was better than expected and we would stop there again.
