Such a great place to stay with great access to the point with enough great places to eat within walking distance. It’s such a unique and historic property - recommend for sure if you are in the area and need a comfortable place to stay

I would definitely go back there. It was kind of eerie that there was no staff, but the place was in immaculate condition and very clean. Loved all the amenities, including the books in the room and the coffee.

8/10 Very good

Loray Caverns and Shenandoah Park are both nearby. Beautiful boutiquey inn, large rooms, soft upscale bedding tastefully decorated and clean. Road noise was noticeable and a sound machine could help with a more enjoyable sleep. No elevator so be prepared for hauling your baggage up stairs.

We loved this sweet hotel, especially its cozy common area full of amenities (i.e., cookies).

Great hotel, great location

Luray is the perfect location for Shenandoah National Park, only 15mins drive away from the entrance at Mile 31. The hotel is a lovely historic combination of character and modern luxury. The internet speed is good, the TV is Smart and the rooms are well equipped. My only criticism is noise, you can hear people in the adjoining room and the trains that run through Luray make a load warning siren, even in the middle of the night.

Beautiful historic building filled with interesting antiques and books. Owner was so warm and welcoming. Loved the location right on Main Street with great shopping, dining and an awesome little movie theater. Plus the room was beautifully decorated with the most comfortable bed! Highly recommended!!

Beautiful old hotel, excellent decor. Very thin walls. You could hear everything above and around but the bed was luxurious and I slept well.

Great place to stay! Super clean and well maintained. The decor is historic boutique at its best. Lots of charming touches. There is an outdoor terrace and a communal sitting area with coffee, chess boards, and lots of historic books. My kids loved the loft bed. It felt like a second bedroom to them with their own space. When searching for place to stay to visit Shenandoah and Luray Caverns, most were bed and breakfast type places, cabins that looked old and not clean, or roadside motels. This is truly a gem amongst them. Seamless check-in and check-out. Food places within walking distance. Highly recommend. The manager, Jenn, was super easy to communicate with over text. She truly cares about this place and it shows.

FYI the hotel is not staffed. You get a code via text to open your room. Totally fine. Stayed at the "Tucker Room." The room was very clean, had a kitchen, and well maintained. For housekeeping you simply leave the sign on the door in the morning. However the only downside was that the cable/internet service is horrible. The internet is spotty, slow, and constantly disconnecting. Moreover there is no cable TV - only Roku combined with spotty internet. So you have to have a subscription to those apps beforehand. Plus even if you have the app, it sucks getting disconnected while you're watching a playoff game. Plus the tv is so old you cannot cast. Hotel ownership needs to at least get cable and decent internet service.

6/10 Good

Posh, clean, comfortable, but overpriced

This hotel is very posh, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. However, it is greatly overpriced for the value. Be advised, there are few, if any, handicap-accessible rooms. Our room had an exterior entrance at the top of a significant flight of stairs with no elevator anywhere.

Unique rooms that take you back in time. Parking was tight with a truck, but otherwise everything else was nice.

Beautiful, spacious charming hotel with all the comforts of home. Jen, the Manager was so gracious and went out of her way to get me a little step stool to help with getting on and off the high bed. Great location with many restaurants within walking distance.
