I had a great experience with the staff and the hotel itself. The room was spacious and had an amazing view. The location was perfect as it was close to all the amenities, but it was also close to the water. It made for a peaceful setting. The reason I did not give the hotel a 5 star rating is because there was no parking in the facility and I needed to park on the street. While most of the time I could find parking, there were times I had to park a couple of blocks away. Additionally, I think the hotel would benefit with a more noticeable sign up front. I arrived at the hotel at 2:30am and had a hard time recognizing which building was the hotel. When I travel to Uruguay again, I will definitely stay there.

Located on a safe, pretty, leafy street with several restaurants proximate. Staff (and Uruguaians in general) spoke english well. The breakfast area turns into a lunch/dinner restaurant and with something ordered can act as a gathering spot as there is not such an area in the lobby. Hotel is within 2 blocks from the Rambla (pictured), a lovely 17 mile walkway along the coast. I got a third floor room with private terrace and terrace shared space with multiple air conditioner units (these are not the highest level terraces pictured on website) but sliding door in my room did open to 3rd floor pool area which had patio with seating.
