Excellent staff, check in straightforward. Superb room, clean, large and spacious with facility to partition bed area from sitting / lounge area. Decent breakfast with good selection of items.

8/10 Very good

Overall, our stay at the hotel was good. The location is great and the rooms are spacious, making for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was enjoyable. However, the towels are old and should be replaced, and I personally didn’t like the carpeted flooring in the rooms.

6/10 Good

I only stayed overnight because of the proximity to the airport. The hotel room was spacious and clean. It is a big modern hotel. The breakfast was good. Overly good for a short stay.

The spa was great, the pool not as great as the sauna. The breakfast was really good! The staff was very nice and helpful. Do not stay in the rooms next to the lift as the noise levels from other guests is disturbing.

Perfect location: close to large shopping mall and the airport. Nice, large room. Very clean. Good breakfast.

Very nice hotel to stay and dine at. Plenty of options for food and things to do at the hotel. A shopping center is 10min walk away. Very easy to get Taxi services and close to the airport.

Great hotel close to airport

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. They ordered our taxi and had it for us in about five minutes. The only thing that we wished was different was the pillows.

Very nice and helpful staff. I was not feeling well and they helped me with my luggage. It’s a good choice if you want to be close to airport and shopping mall.

I really loved the cleanliness, decoration, and friendly vibe. I travel to this area often, and I’d suggest that anyone looking for a place to stay shouldn’t waste their time at other hotels. There’s no better around here!

My family and I spent one night before we flew home. The rooms were very clean, the service was polite and helpful. The spa was impressive especially the salt room and the hamam. We would warmly recommend this hotel. We will come back again.

Very comfortable stay

Very spacious and comfortable room and bathroom. However there was no outlet available. Location is quite and only less than 10 minutes walking distance from the light train to downtown. I would certainly consider staying there again. Breakfast buffet was amazing.

Great hotel. Very clean and close to a great shopping mall. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. 20-30 min drive to tourist attractions. Only 7 min. From the airport. Great staff. Loved our stay and would stay here again when visiting Izmir.

6/10 Good

It was in a good location to use as a base for day tours, but front of house staff weren’t warm and welcoming to tourists. Walls are very thin so you can hear what next door is up to (sheesh!). Very “keep to yourself” type of hotel. Amenities weren’t fabulous either.

Wehad a wonderful experience at the Svalinn Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome with their warm and friendly attitude. Check-in was incredibly smooth and hassle-free, which I really appreciated after a long journey. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed — offering a perfect balance of comfort and functionality. I especially enjoyed the generous breakfast buffet each morning, which offered a wide variety of fresh and tasty options to suit every palate. Dinner was equally impressive, with delicious dishes that were beautifully presented and full of flavor. Overall, the Svalinn Hotel exceeded my expectations. The service, comfort, and food were all top-notch. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Very nice hotel , nice staff , I prefer to book hotels who offers airport shuttle. This was one reason to book this hotel but unfortunately I was told that the shuttle is expensive 100 euros. Taxi was only 5 euros. They should not mention that 24hrs shuttle available. Secondly I booked the tour through hotel. The guide was not helpful. He was in hurry and hungry. He also make us pay for his food. Family was so annoyed that they wants to give 2 stars to hotel but the staff was nice so I give four star

Everything was great about our stay. Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Options for breakfast were vast... although being out first time in Turkey, we were not accustomed to the choices ;-)

It was a very big family room, nice and clean and breakfast was really nice. The only downside was that the jacuzzi was not working during our 1 night stay. Other than that was faultless the sauna, steam and salt room.
