This was a perfect location right on the canal with a supermarket and a café right out the front door however, this is not a staffed hotel. It is a beautiful corner of Villa with four other rooms with a magical sculpture lobby with the water lapping into the foyer it’s kind of mysterious, but cool in a magical Venice way and two minutes to Saint Marks and the magic of secret Venice.

Room was clean and liveable. Bed was hard as a rock as it was not even a real mattress (Just 3 foamy things stacked). Staff was polite and friendly. We went for the Buffet breakfast at the main hotel on one occasion, it was pretty good and worth the $15eu. To access this unit #4, we had to come into the main front door where it looked like a old demolished lobby, around and through some little hallways all of which was clean but old/broken and unfinished. To a second door which went up a VERY narrow set of stares to our room at the top.

Had a lovely stay in Room 22 nice size, spotlessly clean, nice view of a canal, location excellent to get around, right near St marks square and Rialto not too far to travel with your bags either. Everything right on your doorstep, small supermarket lots of shops and restaurants including ristorante Sempione which was a 3 min walk. You have to book in and collect the key from a different hotel but don’t let that put you off it’s on the way to Dolca Casa and the staff are so friendly and walk you round to your room. You get a wats app number if you need anything. Although didn’t receive the bath plug we requested (minor detail as we did also had a shower). TV didn’t work but there was no time to watch TV so much to see and do there. Fair price for the room too when you look at some of the prices.

Dried pasta on bedside table. Otherwise clean. Shower did not turn on (one night stay tried to shower AM before leaving). Annex was on a canal, needs updates but was nice even though repairs were obviously needed. Friendly staff. Hard to travel with luggage from hotel to annex, no porter available.
