I hate to leave a bad review but it wasn’t great. It’s in a small town and I believe this hotel is struggling with staff. The site says continental breakfast available but it isn’t. The room was semi clean (loose oats in a drawer which they cleaned up the next day) and dusty tables. On Sunday we did receive fresh towels but no one to tidy up the room (we checked out on a Monday). Otherwise the bed was comfortable and temperature easy to regulate (AC worked really well).

We stayed at La Maison Blanche Hotel and encountered mixed service during our visit. Upon arrival, the reception experience was unfriendly and felt impersonal, with limited information provided about the room, facilities, or hotel amenities. The initial room appearance fell short of expectations, and the lack of warmth from the front desk added to the disappointment. We returned to the front desk to express our concerns, and there was little proactive help offered. However, a housekeeper who subsequently assisted us was courteous and welcoming. She apologized, invited us to return in 15 minutes while she prepared the room, and when we returned, we found a clean, well-appointed room with a pleasant fragrance. Her professionalism and kindness stood out and are commendable. Check-out experience was again less than ideal, with reception staff appearing cold. This left us with a negative overall impression of the property and, in consideration of future travels, we would likely choose other hotel chains with stronger reputations for consistent service. On a positive note, we want to acknowledge and thank the housekeeper who transformed our room. Her courteous manner and friendly demeanor made a favorable impression despite the initial shortcomings.

2 rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable enough, but there was very little light and outlets were hard to find. The couch (part of a Murphy bed) was like sitting on a bus bench. There was a refrigerator and coffee maker but no microwave and apparently no ice. No iron. The tub was an old jacuzzi type with jets in the bottom so step/sit carefully. Apparently they offer breakfast (for a price) but I wasn't informed of any food and didn't see any signs. Then again, I don't speak French so maybe I just missed it. The woman who checked me in didn't speak English and I felt she couldn't get rid of me fast enough, so maybe if we shared a language I would've been graced with more information. Basically, if you just need a quick stop to sleep and shower it's not bad, but if I pass that way again I'll look for something better.

Our unit was facing the water. I imagine the view to be great if not for the bad weather. Ask for the upper units if you are that kind of person who does not want to hear footsteps above you. Checking in was a breeze and the receptionist was very friendly. It would be nice if there were more gazebos with barbecue grills as there are not a lot of restaurants in the immediate area. It’s a nice place to relax. I will definitely book this place again.

We have stayed there before. Happy to see that the carpet has been replaced with vinyl flooring. Much cleaner in that regard. Unfortunately there was dirt on the floor so not the cleanest. Light fixtures weren’t working. Housekeeping came at 8am while we were still in the room and did not come when we had left for the day. They need to wait until we leave and then service the room.

I had a great 3 night stay at this hotel. It was quiet and clean and the bed was comfy. The reception team were amazing, only thing I wish their had of been a microwave in the room. There was a nice sized mini fridge though which was great! For the price it was perfect! It even had a keurig machine, which I ALWAYS appreciate! I’d definitely recommend this place.
