A lovely stay! The staff was extremely welcoming and the location was perfect. The cherry on top was the glass of complimentary sherry. The only thing I'd change was the pillows. You can hear sounds from outside and other rooms pretty well, but there were earplugs in the room.

We LOVED Monte Verde Inn. The facility was gorgeous, in a perfect location to enjoy downtown Carmel as well as the beach. Breakfast was hand-delivered in a basket which was such a sweet touch!

We really enjoyed our stay at Monte Verde Inn! It was a great location and we will definitely stay there again. The room was very clean and the breakfast was great! Nice towels and shower. The best thing was the friendly staff. When I called to confirm the reservation, Kate was very friendly and really welcoming. When we checked in, they were very helpful and friendly. When we checked out, they couldn’t have been nicer! That means a lot when you are spending a lot to be right near Ocean Ave. I highly recommend this hotel!
