We had a 2 night stay last week and booked the top floor Manhattan room. With it being the hottest day of the year I was worried it would be too hot but as there are windows on both sides of the room we got a gorgeous breeze right the way through. A huge and very powerful fan as a back up and a fridge with chilled water restocked every day. Super clean and spacious room with a view, check in was great with the staff even carrying my case up the flights of stairs for me, perfect location and would definitely stay again.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. We got here very early at around 9 in the morning. The staff was very kind to hold our luggage and then prepared our room for check in. The place was in the heart of Brighton right by the beach. Highly recommend!

The staff were warm, friendly and super helpful! Our room in the basement, was a good size for 3 of us (my 2 daughters and I). It even had a small outside patio area where we could eat our fish and chip dinner! There were fans in the room which were much needed as it was a very hot summer night. A great location near the beach and town. The breakfast was lovely with a good choice - even for diary and gluten intolerant. My only complaint was loud residents coming and going in the early hours of the morning, about 1-2am, banging doors. One of them got locked out about 1.30am and immediately started shouting and banging on the door to be let in. So I got up to let her in, as the banging was going on for so long, but then a friend of hers managed to get there first to let her in. I asked the lady to keep the noise down. This was of course not the fault of the hotel, but it really impacted my sleep and so I woke up feeling exhausted. Maybe more signs need to be put up about being more respectful and keeping noise down, as well as having a night porter around who could deal with them, The night porter was in the hotel next door, so not easily accessible or aware.
