Mould in bathroom, poor lighting, property overall needs major updating. Staff very pleasant and motel is only a few minutes' drive to Wiarton and Hwy. 6. No gas stations in Wiarton as main intersection closed for road work. Beautiful hiking trails within 30+ minutes. Two wonderful cafes in town. Area very quiet this time of year.

Lovely view with a walk out to the bay. Pool was perfect, even in the rain! Mentor greeted us warmly and the housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. Room was simple and clean. Easy parking right outside our door. Highly recommended as a nice quiet understated getaway.

I loved the location, the beach and the staff. No microwave in the room, the size of the room and the non-functional tv were a bit disappointing. Wifi was great but really slow when the property filled up. Great for one person for one night between hikes, but I wouldn't stay much longer.

Beautiful view on the bay, the access to pool (but fixed with duct tape) was nice, and the receptionist was kind, but it was way too expensive for the quality of the room, which was fixed in the 90's. The filter from air conditioner was dusty and disgusting. The patio door mosquito net was ripped in several places. The pillows were itchy. The motel needs some renovations and an upgrade.
