Wir haben ein schönes Wochenende im Hotel Phoenix verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Angebot. Allerdings kann ich nur ein Gut geben und verstehe die hervorragenden Bewertungen nicht, hier hätte dann doch einiges besser sein müssen. Der Poolbereich war sehr schön, das Wasser hatte eine angenehme Temperatur, es war alles sauber, schöne Liegen. Allerdings ist der Saunabereich nicht optimal, die Saunen waren zu kalt, besonders das Dampfbad kam überhaupt nicht auf Temperatur, auch die Biosauna war relativ kühl, die finnische Sauna war perfekt. Der Ruhebereich im Saunabereich war leider auch viel zu kalt, mussten zum Pool ausweichen. Das Frühstück war gut, hier habe ich allerdings in anderen vier* Häusern schon eine viel bessere Auswahl erlebt, daher auch nur gut. Für sehr gut oder hervorragend, hätte es dann doch ein bisschen mehr Auswahl geben müssen. Dies ist natürlich ein Meckern auf hohem Niveau, wenn man also nicht zu hohe Erwartungen hat, kann man das Hotel gut weiterempfehlen. Und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist natürlich auch zu beachten, andere vier * Häuser sind zum Teil ja auch teurer. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, es liegt ruhig und man kann über einen kurzen Fußweg ins Dorf hinunter gehen.Der Fußweg geht allerdings zurück wieder bergauf, dafür muss man gut zu Fuß sein. Wir hatten ein Terrassenzimmer mit herrlichem Ausblick, es gibt allerdings nur ca. 4, alle anderen Zimmer sind ohne Balkon beziehungsweise Terrasse.

Sauberes großes Zimmer, Wellnessbereich mit schönem großen Pool und bequemen Liegen, sowohl innen als auch außen, großzügiger Restaurant-, Bar- und Außenbereich, netter Empfang, problemloser Check-In und -Out. Genügend Parkplätze, im oberen Bereich mit viel Gepäck etwas mühsam. Toller Ausblick auf Bergneustadt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Personal ist ausnahmslos extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das habe ich selten so erlebt. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alles sehr frisch und lecker. Einzig das Rührei. Hier würde ich vorschlagen, eine kleinere Portion ans Buffet zu stellen und dann öfters mal frisch nachzulegen. Das Rührei in dieser großen Menge war leider nur lauwarm. Geschmacklich allerdings auch sehr gut 😊 Das Hotel im allgemeinen war sehr sauber und das Zimmer nett und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Wir kommen sicher mal wieder

Zimmer okay, Bad winzig, toller Wellnessbereich. Beim letzten Aufenthalt gab es einen Wasserschaden & heute Morgen um 6 Uhr Feueralarm, weil es in der Küche einen Zwischenfall gegeben hatte. Anschließend stand nur noch kaltes Wasser für das Duschen und die darüberhinaus gehende Morgentoilette zur Verfügung😢😢😢 Eine angemessene Entschädigung wurde nicht angeboten 😡
