It is a wonderful stay at the hotel for 3 days/2 nights enjoying the clean and comfortable environment, fresh and tasty traditional Japanese cuisine and experiencing the services of very nice staff.

Very attentive staff, serene atmosphere, and excellent food. Dinner and breakfast were amazing with many regional foods I’d never tried before. Access to the many onsen in town was simple and fast. Cute town.

We stayed in a room with a private onsen, which was fantastic, the views were fantastic, the staff fantastic and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. A great place to stay!

8/10 Very good

Overall very good Ryokan. Most customers are foreigners. Food is great and we got to dine in our private dining room. On site onsen is small but clean.

Although a bid outside of town this ryokan offers incredible rooms, fantastic staff and a beautiful onsen. Although it’s just a quick walk to downtown they offer a free shuttle service to some of the onsen as well as the station. Just be aware that sleeping on the ground is rather hard even with the provided futon.

This was one of the most unique and special hotel experiences had. It was a traditional Ryocan experience with mats on the floor which were ok for comfort. I throughly enjoyed the onsite onsen too. 💖👘

One of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended! Everything was thoughtfully done and well maintained. The onsite onsen was beautiful, with both indoor and outdoor bathing areas. The traditional Japanese dinners and breakfasts were wonderful experiences, served in a private dining room and featuring multiple courses, including crab. The rooms were spotless, and the central garden created a tranquil focal point that could be enjoyed from the lobby lounge area and seen from our traditional room. We stayed a couple of nights, and would easily return again.

We loved this inn with its beautiful garden and relaxed, quiet atmosphere. The staff here are extremely helpful, always willing to help and serve. The onsen is very here as well. We chose the breakfast and dinner option featuring tradition Japanese food which was over the top. Excellent food quality and taste, beautifully presented. This inn is not directly in the town, but they will drive you anywhere, though we always chose to walk. It's only a 10-15 minute, pleasant walk to the village. Absolutely reccommend!

The onsen here is even better than most of the public onsens in the town. The hotel has lots of complimentary amenities like the lounge area with free massage chairs, soft drinks, sweets; foot massage machine. Their Japanese room for a family of 4 is quite spacious with a separate family area and sleeping area. The room also has a private garden. If you get the meals there, you get a private dining room and 10 course meal. Overall, we felt like we got the VIP treatment.

A reasonably priced ryokan in Kinosaki Onsen, which is tattoo tolerant. Very good breakfasts and dinner in traditional ryokan style. Very accommodating staff. Nice additions to their onsen area are sauna and outdoor cold plunge, not often found in Onsen. A bit of a hike from town but convenient free shuttle service.

Onishiya Suishoen provided a truly wonderful, next-level Japanese experience for our family trip. Both the dinner and breakfast were delicious. The onsen was the absolute highlight—my mother called it her best onsen experience ever! The staff's customer service was warm, hospitable, and made celebrating her birthday a delight. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay in the beautiful small town of Kinosakionsen. Free pass to all onsen in town, and free shuttle in the evenings to town (about a 10 minute walk). A variety of small restaurants are in town too, as well as cafes and plenty of gift shops. The room was very cute and cozy!

Very worth it to stay in this ryokan! Upon arriving at the kinosakionsen station, free shuttles were available to drop you off at your ryokan or hotels. The ryokan was modernized but still had the traditional japanese cultural vibes. The front desk staff and welcoming committee were great as well. It was raining and I accidentally forgot to order dinner so my husband and I had to go out, and the town was 10 minutes away if you walk it out and they had shuttles available to drop us off between 4 to 10p and that includes pick up, just give them a call with their whatsapp line. The breakfast and dinner were keiseki meal and were very fresh and worth it. The onsen was also amazing!
