We had a great stay at HM Playa del Carmen. The hotel was very nice and comfortable, with a great pool area and an excellent breakfast. We had nice rooms with private terraces, which made it a perfect place to spend our last few days in Mexico. Playa del Carmen itself felt a little too touristy for our taste, but the hotel was very good and a great place to finish our trip.

This Hotel has an excellent location with walking distance to restaurants and beach. Pool area was very nice. Staff was very knowledgeable and kind. The room was specious and includes a small fridge. I liked that there was a bench in the bathroom area. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the the shower floor is not level properly and the water get stuck in the shower floor, this also caused that it gets all wet outside of the shower. This can be a safety issue. Overall was a nice stay.

HM Playa del Carmen was well located and had a great pool. Our room was very clean though the beds were hard. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning. I recommend getting a room not close to the pool bar as it can get noisy at night.
