If your looking for 5-Star Motel, Sandcastle isn't for you. However, if your looking for Friendly Staff & Close access to the Beach, Shops & Restaurants then I recommend Sandcastle. We stayed 4 nights during Pirates Fest, Staff was Great. Will definitely stay here again.

So happy we found this place before booking with the other, more expensive, hotels. The rooms were very clean (smelled great!), beds were comfortable, A/C was COLD, and within walking distance to the beach (walk through the parking lot) and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

Decent place to stay for the price on Tybee Island. Very conveniently located to the beach, dining, and shopping. Everything was in walking distance. The hotel was a little dated, but well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. No breakfast.

Our room was clean. The back parking was a lil tight when u have a truck. Didn’t get a chance to use the pool but it looked very nice. The lady at front desk was very nice. We had a mix up with our room but got us another room quickly. We also had a problem with our tv but will compensate on our next visit.

My experience at Sandlands Inn was terrible. The place was dirty and very unpleasant, and I did not feel safe or comfortable staying there. The fire alarm kept going off repeatedly, which was extremely disturbing. There was also a lot of noise throughout my stay, especially from children, making it very difficult to relax or rest. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and I would not stay here again.

I chose this hotel while searching on the trivago site & was sent to hotels.com to book the room. The trivago listing showed that this motel had breakfast which was one reason I chose it as well as the pool. There was no breakfast & the pool was clean & great but their dumpsters were located behind the pool so when the wind blew all you could smell was garbage. The staff was great & room was clean. Our stay was during the week so parking was plentiful. We did enjoy our stay.
