Great views and right on the beach. It was nice having an entire suite instead of just a hotel room

The location is excellent and our view was great. Didn’t use the pool but other people were in it and it looked good. Good value for the $.

Quiet atmosphere, safe area, customer friendly staff, clean room, walking distance to beach. Would stay again.

The place I stayed in was as described. The people at the front desk were super helpful, and everything was easily accessible. Probably my only issue was the restaurant bar was only open a few hours, so I did not get to use it. But I'll be back again.

Our room was spacious with a balcony and a view of the ocean and the outdoor pool, which was immaculately clean. The hotel is in an excellent location, off the main road but still close to everything.

I was a bit concerned reading some of the reviews after booking my stay but I really enjoyed my stay at Carolina Winds. My room was very clean and exceeded my expectations! Some of the appliances were dated as many reviews suggest, but the room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and I had a decent southward view of the beach. The pool was very nice, the staff courteous, and the motel was on a nice section of the beach. Was only there for two days but enjoyed my stay and have zero complaints...

Great stay, very clean. Wonderful staff. Obviously an older property. Door to the bathroom hit the toilet and no soap provided.

Family of 4, first time staying at this property. We had an amazing time and thought this place was amazing. We stayed in one of the properties condos and we were very pleased. Full kitchen, laundry and two bedrooms, older room but everything worked and it was great. Right on the beach, huge pool, lazy river pool and we felt safe and at home. Will definitely stay again in the future. Glad to have found this resort.

The hotel room layout was excellent! Normally, it’s just one space but this was separated into a sleeping space, full kitchen and living room with doors that closed between rooms. We have been to Myrtle Beach a lot and this was the best hotel we’ve stayed in.

We had a great time. Everything was seamless. The room was clean. The pools and hot tubs were clean. If we needed anything at all the front desk was very courteous and helpful. We definitely will stay with Carolina Winds again.

6/10 Good

The room was nice, but it could’ve been cleaned better. The bathtub had hair in it, the curtain was dirty as well. The dishes were dirty, and the floor had sand on it. But overall the hotel was nice, it wouldn’t stop me from booking again. As the amenities were the reason we booked to begin with!

The room was clean, outdated furniture, I had a very old type smell to it. But it was clean, the pool was nice hot tub nice, restaurant was closed, overall wasn't a bad experience.
