I was a bit concerned reading some of the reviews after booking my stay but I really enjoyed my stay at Carolina Winds. My room was very clean and exceeded my expectations! Some of the appliances were dated as many reviews suggest, but the room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and I had a decent southward view of the beach. The pool was very nice, the staff courteous, and the motel was on a nice section of the beach. Was only there for two days but enjoyed my stay and have zero complaints...

The hotel room layout was excellent! Normally, it’s just one space but this was separated into a sleeping space, full kitchen and living room with doors that closed between rooms. We have been to Myrtle Beach a lot and this was the best hotel we’ve stayed in.

The room was nice, but it could’ve been cleaned better. The bathtub had hair in it, the curtain was dirty as well. The dishes were dirty, and the floor had sand on it. But overall the hotel was nice, it wouldn’t stop me from booking again. As the amenities were the reason we booked to begin with!

The beds felt like old springed out mattress and were hard with dips in the center, toilet and sink very short like for kids and the fixtures had rust , coffe pot rusted. Overall remodeling of the units. Pools were cleaned really good everyday along with the hotel ground floor. Rooms needs new furniture. Had a few incidents but were wuickly resilved by staff
