A great location and room 11 we stayed in has a balcony looking over Lake Windermere. Lift not working. Staff friendly and helpful. Holiday let down by the food. We had dinner on the first night - veg was cold and chips half cooked. Pie crust was like concrete and gravy very thin. Not a nice experience so ate out of the hotel for the rest of the holiday

Stayed for 2 very comfortable nights. Hotel is clean with very good staff. The room was spacious and well equipped. The bathroom really good too. Heating worked well and was easily controlled. The restaurant was very reasonably priced with good service. The breakfast was really good too. The first morning it was almost cold! But much better on the Friday morning. Parking very convenient too I would recommend this to others and would happily stay here again.

What a beautiful inn and great location (pretty much llakeside). Our room was spacious and had a lakeview. Bed was very comfortable. Very friendly staff. Food was good and on a rainy day, people just hung out in the dining area enjoying the views and conversation. Definitely recommend.

Newly renovated situated right on the lake and near the ferry terminal it is a great base to explore the lakes district. The bedroom was large and comfortable the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and are clearly making an effort to ensure a great stay.

The Inn was lovely and we enjoyed our stay, the view, the location, tand everything was great. The only thing was the "free drinks" vouchers we got, which we did not know mean that if we use them our rooms won't get cleaned the following day, so it would have been nice if the staff told us that before we used them, and we'd have simply paid for our pint. Also, no phones in the rooms.
