4/10 Fair

The hotel staff were great and accommodating. Breakfast was great unfortunately the whole experience though with rooms was not great. We Arrived and the first two rooms we were shown were right next to lifts and were v noisy from the lift mechanics. In The third room we were woken at 7am to pneumatic drilling outside our room in the road. We Moved again into another room which was fine - until at 11pm the works started to take down trees and there was horrific construction noise planned to continue until 5am. We Moved rooms again and the first room was unsuitable, so moved again - finally getting a room at 1am. Not great when you have a 5am start moving cases down corridors in the early hours. Whilst these were factors outside the hotel control some effort to offset the disruption should have been offered
