Our room was well presented and clean. We stayed on the fifth floor in a double room. We had a lovely view from the double door window of the Sacre Cœur. However, the room was on the small side, even just the two of us. When getting ready on a morning we were practically on top of each other. Also, the bathroom door was a sliding door and did not block any noise from in there so you could hear EVERYTHING that was happening in there as if you were sat in the room with them. This might not be an issue for some but just so people are aware.
When we first arrived at the hotel, we'd been travelling all afternoon and evening with heavy cases and bags. When we presented at the reception desk, we initially found the man behind the counter to be a little rude and short with us. We didn't feel like we were warmly welcomed, and there was little to no information given to us other than what number our room was and what the code for the front door and WiFi password was - we had to work out the rest. This was a little disappointing to be honest. There may have been a language barrier however, but it still seemed like a lack of interest and welcome from him. Other than that, the other staff we met were pleasant.
