Excellent hotel just across the train station, which makes it a very convenient base for travel and access to the airport. The room was spacious with modern furnishings and sparkly clean, bed was very comfortable, great shower. Breakfast was very nice with varied offerings. The rooftop bar / lounge was perfect for an evening drink and light dinner. Everyone at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. Overall, I had an excellent stay and would return when visiting Bari again. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Il Leon D’Oro. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, the main shopping streets, and just a 15-minute walk from the Historic Center. Directly across from the hotel is a lovely plaza where you can catch Bus Route 12 to Pane e Pomodoro Beach. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Antonio at the front desk. He was kind, helpful, and multilingual, and his exceptional service made our stay even more enjoyable. Silvia was also wonderful—she assisted us with our luggage and was courteous and attentive throughout our visit. The breakfast was excellent, and Betty was always friendly and attentive. We also loved spending time on the rooftop bar and terrace, where we enjoyed delicious spritzes, dinner, and breathtaking sunsets. We highly recommend Il Leon D’Oro and would gladly stay there again.

If I could give this hotel 20 stars, I would. It’s practically brand new (less than five months old) and everything about it is exceptional. The location is perfect—right across from the bus station, with a pedestrian walkway behind the hotel that leads you through all the best shops in Bari, straight into Old Town and down to the ocean. No cars, just a beautiful walk. The hotel itself is state-of-the-art, thoughtfully designed, fully accessible, and equipped with fast, modern elevators. Every detail in the rooms is well planned and comfortable. Parking is incredibly convenient—just about 20 steps to the right of the hotel. It can be a little tricky to find at first, but once you do, it couldn’t be easier. The staff truly made the experience. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and attentive. The included breakfast was outstanding—one of the best we’ve had. And the rooftop bar? Absolutely amazing. Great atmosphere, excellent food, a talented chef, fantastic music, and a bartender who really made the experience special. This hotel exceeded every expectation. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect location to have a base for travelling to near by towns and sights - only few minutes from Bari Centrale and Bus terminal. Love love love this hotel , ideally located 2 min walk from train station . Great base for day trips . Also close to bus station which we used to visit Alberobello. Rooftop bar contemporary as is the rest of the hotel , not traditional Italian inside but that’s why I loved the contemporary/modern feel. Would definitely visit again, can’t wait… Only downfall is no pool but too busy exploring the city to notice .

My friend and I shared a room in your hotel. It was cozy and big enough for both of us. The breakfast was delicious and the location could not have been better. Since we took a later train that day, the staff was very accomidating by holding our bags and letting us sit in the lobby while waiting for the train. The staff were lovely and very helpful.
