Came here to celebrate our anniversary. Hotel is well maintained but not full of amenities. It does have a great rooftop view of the harbor. Great location to everything. Staff made the difference with being professional and courteous.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel St. Lauren! The location is incredibly convenient—close to everything while still feeling tucked away and charming. Gabby at the front desk was especially wonderful and incredibly helpful, giving us great recommendations, tips, and ideas for things to do around the island. The hotel definitely has an old-school, quaint Catalina charm. Some of the rooms and amenities could probably benefit from a little refresh, but at the same time, that slightly vintage feel is part of its personality and may be exactly what some people are looking for when staying on the island. Overall, we had a really lovely experience and felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Definitely a solid 4 out of 5 for us, and we’d happily recommend it!

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was for the price since most hotel rooms out in Avalon cost an arm and a leg. It was affordable, incredibly good location, very comfortable with a very good bathroom, and the staff were all very kind during check-in and check-out. This is definitely one of my new favorite places to stay when I visit Avalon!

We get it, it's an older building in a great part of town in the center of Avalon. The staff was great, no question. What frustrates me was we paid over $600 for one night due to an event being held on the island. This room at best is worth $50... No view, a very firm bed, 2 unworthy pillows. The price gouging is how they are able to justify why anyone would stay at this price at this place... I'm actually embarrassed that a lot of my wedding guests stayed here 8 years ago I had no idea as I'm an interior designer and this barely meets any of my minimal requirements. The charm of the island and seeing all of our friends made it worth the sacrifice. The AC worked, great location, sweet staff, clean fresh sheets. Thank you, will only stay again if it's competitive and reasonably priced.

The front office lady (don’t know her name) was extremely accommodating. The property is old and dated and needs a refurbishing. The WiFi connection was horrible and kept going in and out. It needs to be upgraded. I stayed in room 607 and the toilet seemed unsteady. Someone should take a look at it. The AC is extremely noisy. I liked the location.

The view off the roof patio was super cute! Loved spotting our cute pink hotel when doing different things in Avalon. They let us up to our room when our boat arrived in the morning. Overall would recommend for an affordable and cute place to stay.

They don't offer coffee in the room, however there is coffee in the morning in the lobby. Staff was very friendly and allowed us to store our lugage before we were able to get our room at normal check-in time 3pm. That was very helpful for us to do things without worrying about our stuff.
