Wanted to go to the Tara Camel Festival, but didn’t want to commit to camping in the middle of winter… staying in Dalby was a great compromise! The staff members are the best. Reception could not have been more welcoming or more helpful when we had a glitch with our hotels.com booking. The waitress in the restaurant was charming and looked after us very well. Our dinner was delicious and it was a treat to stay in a country motel with a full service restaurant. Our room was comfortable, with microwave, toaster and frig as well as tea and coffee tray. Air-con worked well. Bathroom had plenty of space on the vanity, walk-in shower but no grab bar in the shower. Bed was comfortable and we slept very well despite being very close to a busy highway. There is a convenience store, bottle shop and coffee shop across the side street from the motel.
