Beautiful Peranakan mansion with large rooms, helpful staff, excellent breakfast and many lounging areas. There is much street noise when the night market closes off Jonker Street. For Fri, Sat, Sunday nights, ask for rooms far from Hereen Street.

Old town Melaka in this hotel our suite was spacious and the bathroom was modern and beautiful. The bed was spacious and lounge chair amazing. Enjoyed the walkable tours . Food suggestions and many options to eat and shop. This hotel was over 100 years d with Asian inlays and carved furnishings. The Portuguese architecture was awesome blended with Chinese decor. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to stay here again.

I hope my review will be helpful to other guests who are considering this hotel. It's a beautiful old building. We enjoyed our stay. There are no elevators and the rooms are upstairs so travel light, if possible. There was a staff member who helped with our bags so that was very helpful for my elderly parents. On the first night, there were not many guests so it was lovely and quiet. On the second night, it was the weekend so there were many more guests and it became very noisy. You can hear people talking loudly outside in the common spaces, kids stomping around on the floor above, crying and squealing in the middle of the night and early in the morning. The walls are thin and the floor creaks so it's hard to have a good rest. Bring ear plugs. A fitness centre was advertised in the hotel description but when we enquired, there wasn't one. The staff were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was simple but good. The wifi was good enough for Zoom. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner kept the room very cool. The location is excellent for exploring Jonkers Street and the shops and restaurants along the river. Overall, it's a great hotel if you are looking for something with character, old world charm, and good service in a central location.

The Peranakan-inspired décor is absolutely charming, with intricate details that reflect Melaka’s rich heritage, while the modern bathrooms provide all the expected amenities (though a small addition like cotton pads for makeup removal would be nice!). The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the heritage district, making it easy to explore the city’s main attractions on foot. Service is warm and attentive, adding a personal touch to my stay. Cleanliness is top-notch, and the overall ambiance feels both cozy and elegant. A couple of things to note: WiFi can be weak at times, and while the hotel advertises on-site parking, spaces are quite limited. Also, there are no elevators, so be prepared for some staircase climbing. 😅 Overall, Heeren Palm Suites is a wonderful choice for those looking for a blend of heritage charm, comfort, and a prime location in Melaka! Would definitely stay again.

They offer more then hospitality

More than friendly personal, makes you feel like home. All our needs were taking care of even the ones that are not related to them. Location wise is the best as you can walk to Jonker Street and many other historical places in few minutes. Thank you Heeren Palm Suites for your warmth welcome.

The hotel was a nice building in a good location. We received a good welcome by reception staff and there were no problems. Breakfast was very average with a limited choice and staff who weren’t that interested, although by no means unpleasant. There was no bar or restaurant. The room was absolutely fine. The hotel overall just seemed a bit bare. But it really wasn’t bad. Don’t be put off if you get a good deal.

La sera a mezzanotte mi arriva un addebito di una cifra random sulla carta da parte delll’Hotel che era stato pagato interamente al mio arrivo . Si sono ovviamente scusati dopo che ho fatto notare il fatto ma ugualmente il fatto che un dipendente a mezzanotte ha preso dal sistema l mi carta e senza motivo ha addebitato una cifra a caso mi ha lasciata con l’amaro in bocca. Si trova comunque in una posizione abbastanza centrale il prezzo è onesto le camere spaziose . Potrebbero mettere qualche asciugamano in più e un po’ più nuovi .

夜10時すぎの到着だったが、事前に連絡しておいたので全く問題なし。入り口を入るとプラナカン様式の美しい建築が目に入る。エレベーターはないが、宿の方が重い荷物を部屋まで運んでくれて助かった。部屋はMALAY ROOM。手入れされた歴史を感じる家具が、1人では広すぎる部屋に置かれており落ち着く。メンテナンスされたバスルームはシャワーのみ。他の投稿でお湯が出ないと書かれていたが、バスルーム入り口に、利用する5分前にオンするスイッチがあり、忘れると水のままなので注意が必要。バルコニーもあるが、夜は開けると蚊が入ってきた。（蚊取りは部屋に設置されている） 朝食は一階の庭に面した部屋で、木曜はナシレマッなど4〜5種類から一つ選択して、おばちゃんにオーダー。金曜はバフェ形式で、ひととおりの洋食とフルーツに、ルンダンやチャークイティオ、クエダダールなどニョニャ料理もあってどれも美味。部屋数がそれほど多くないので、混み合うことなくゆっくりいただけた。 明るくなって建物内を探検したが、一階はプラナカン様式の白い床と焦茶の木彫りの造りがとにかく美しい。階段がいくつもあり、ちょっと迷路のようで楽しい。 ジョンカーストリートやオランダ広場も徒歩で5分ほどなので、お土産を買ったら荷物を置きに来るのも便利。 次回のマラッカ訪問では、ここで3泊くらい過ごしたい。
