I'm on a month-long trip of North America and this is the best hostel I've stayed in yet. The bathrooms are all outside of the rooms and there are lots of them, so if you're in a female dorm, you're not waiting forever for the bathroom. The rooms were clean, smartyly laid out and the hostel has so many events every day. The location was perfect - easy to reach north and south stations, it's right by Boston Common and easy to get to Fenway Park and Boyleston St. Highly recommend!

It was ann excellent stay for me. They have a big kitchen and a lot of shower/restrooms with almost daily group events and greet and meet opportunities. It is centrally located with an easy access to the subway and SL1 bus which takes you from the airport to the hostel. I would stay there again if I go back to Boston!

Spend good 3 nights at the hostel. It's in a good location next to Chinatown and only 10 minutes away from South Station ! I love that the bathroom and the toilet are their own individual rooms and they were clean too.

Overall, I had a great stay at HI Boston Hostel. The location is excellent, the staff was friendly, and everything was clean and well organized. The only downsides were that the air conditioning in the room was too cold, and it took a long time for the shower water to warm up. Even then, the water was only lukewarm. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hostel.

The dorm and shared bathroom are clean. The only con is, many ambulances passing by with siren on since the hostel is near by a medical center, might not ideal hostel for light sleepers. The location is walkable to all the attractions, and public transportation. I will come back
