We live the Grand Summit! From the gorgeous building to the playground to the pool it is as beautiful as it is family friendly. Short ride to Storyland. We love roasting s'mores by the outdoor fire pits. Just lovely!

Excellent service, gorgeous grounds and nice pool. It's a very relaxing place and has become one of my favorite places to unwind. The room is a *little* shabby, but the appliances were stainless steel and updated. Front desk was very helpful, especially Tim, the general manager.

Facility was great and rooms were clean. The suites were great for families traveling with children. It is unfortunate that the restaurants are closed for renovations. That made it difficult, since we had to drive 20-25 minutes to get to restaurants, which was not easy to do at night. They were not very organized about setting up the coffee and danishes in the morning, which they promised to have. The suites were not set up with coffee, tea, sugar or creamers, so we had to depend for coffee in the lobby. When it was finally set up, the danishes were of very limited quantity and not of good quality. Coffee was good , though. The kitchen staff was very courteous and pleasant. However, the front desk staff were not.

Honestly it was great for a basic stay - the pool and hot tub was great to have, the room with a kitchen was perfect for what we needed, room was clean and beds were decently comfortable. We mostly enjoyed everything that the area has to enjoy so we weren’t at the hotel much. If you want a basic stay and know you aren’t walking into a 5-star hotel, you’ll be fine. It’s an older hotel so you should know what to expect. The bad reviews are unfortunate, know what you’re booking!

Great place to stay. It’s well maintained and clean. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. The arcade could use a makeover but that’s about it. My husband and I had a great time. You have a beautiful view and it’s about 10-15 minutes to the town.
