All in all, an excellent experience, with two particular highlights: A truly pleasant atmosphere—such as in the lobby areas—and excellent service at the reception. Secondly, one of the best breakfasts I’ve experienced at a hotel in Finland; a delicious presentation and a great selection. If you are looking for a good hotel in Oulu with a great location, I recommend this one.

The room was small by American standards, but very comfortable. I slept well in the comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. Only complaint was that the shower had a gap in the door and leaked water all over the bathroom floor. Not sure if this is the case in all the rooms, but was a problem in room 304.

This is very lovely “Lapland and reindeer” theme hotel. The room was decorated nicely and had a nice lights. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet room to sleep. Their breakfast buffet has great quality selection. They also have free bike rental that I consider great because Oulu is a nice city to bike. This hotel also has a pool and sauna.

Very happy with our stay. We stayed in one of the rooms in the new section which was fantastic. Lots of breakfast choices on the buffet. Very friendly personnel. Overnight on-street parking was free for the rest of the day we parked in the nearby parking garage (3 min walk). Good location, everything in the city centre is in walking distance.

The hotel is extremely large but well located. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The breakfasts were fantastic. There was a huge selection and the food was exceptionally tasty. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also good but various groups eating there made it too noisy. Our room was adequate but the mirror attached to the wall in our bathrooms did not work. Parking was available but we had to pay for it. This hotel was perfectly acceptable but it was not my favourite. I prefer smaller hotels with more charm.

Had a wonderful stay in this light bright stylish hotel. Close in to all the central attractions and just steps from the fantastic cathedral. Nice Italian and Finnish specialty restaurants at the hotel and one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had at a hotel. Recommend using the bikes at the hotel to cruise around Oulu and the nearby islands and forests and beaches !

Fantastic place in every way. Close to parks, transportation, shopping, everything. Nice bed, nice food, nice bathroom, nice people everywhere. The cathedral view from the room was fantastic. Only minus was that they forgot to clean my room, when I asked for it, but the room was pretty clean so it was a minor problem
