The place is a true gem! I’ve been to Santorini before and this property is my new favorite. The view is breathtaking and the rooms are extremely comfortable and well decorated. I found The Vasilicos online, and I thought the property was beautiful from the photos on the website, but the beauty cannot truly be expressed in photos. The property is absolutely gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. Manos and Chris took excellent care of our group by arranging transportation for us and anything we asked of them. We had an amazing breakfast each morning. The Vasilicos is conveniently located along the pathway, and we enjoyed several walks around the area. There are shops and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the beautiful Belvedere suite and private plunge pool. The bathroom was well appointed with toiletries and towels. The staff took excellent care of us.

Outstanding accommodation. Spotlessly clean. Quirky and very old rooms refurbished to 21st century standards. The best view on the island - right outside your room every morning. No need to queue or pay for top end restaurants with a view when you have this…! Friendly, polite helpful staff. Manos who runs things is a great guy. Super professional, eternally helpful and just a really nice & very interesting & funny guy to talk to. An absolute asset to the business. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.Totally worth it. Lots of steps (like the whole of Santorini) only thing to be aware of if you’re not steady on your feet. But wow !! Breathtaking place. Incredibly peaceful. Superb breakfast served to your terrace every morning. (Kris and Pavlov lovely guys). The catamaran boat trips superb. Best boat trip I’ve done on really snazzy boats with great crew and hospitality. Ask Manos about them. We went in Aug for 7 days - stayed in Daphne room.

Absolutely amazing stay for our honeymoon. We loved everything about this hotel. The workers went above and beyond to make our stay even more special especially the male worker (forgot his name). Breakfast was amazing. Location was perfect away from the noise but within walking distance to restaurants. Our stay in Santorini was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to this wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home. Every single person we interacted with was warm, kind, and always ready to answer any questions with a smile. It’s rare to find a team that makes such a lasting impression, and the V-team truly did. The hotel itself was beautifully maintained, so clean and peaceful, with stunning views of the sea and island that we never got tired of. You have a front seat to what probably is the best view from the island. There was a sense of calm and charm in every corner, and it was clear that a lot of thought and love goes into keeping the place so special. One of our favorite little touches was a sweet cat named Summer who lives on the grounds. She added such a cozy, homey vibe; our daughter especially adored her. It’s small things like that, combined with the genuinely caring people and the breathtaking setting, that made this stay feel so personal and memorable. We can’t wait to return someday. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip to Santorini so magical!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at The Vasilicos from July 16-20. We had never been to Santorini before, and our plan was to 'veg out' after a family cruise the week prior. We did not know what to expect, however we were completely amazed, not only at the views from the hotel, but at the exceptional service provided by everyone there. The location was prefect – away from the crowds in Fira (a short walk away) and Oia (a short drive away). From the moment we arrived, we were pampered by the very friendly staff and there was never a moment that we felt neglected or forgotten. They took care of transportation arrangements when we asked, our breakfast was served promptly when we requested it every morning, and they were happy to recommend wonderful restaurants no matter which town we were planning to visit. Both Dimitrios and Chris handled all our luggage delivery to and from our room without any effort and really took wonderful care of us. Their chef, Yannis, was exceptional in both his preparation and presentation of our meals, in particular the fabulous Caldera Candlelight dinner on their patio with an unobstructed view of a magnificent sunset. The rooms are well appointed, and the pool was just outside our door. It was truly a perfect holiday in a magical setting, and we would most definitely return to The Vasilicos without hesitation!!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious, with pool, beautiful, and had a stunning view that made the experience even more special. The breakfast was delicious and served on the terrace, which was the perfect way to start each morning. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful — they truly made our stay easy, relaxing, and memorable. The location was also great: only about 10 minutes from Fira. While it’s farther from Oia, the scenic 2.5-hour hike to Oia was absolutely beautiful and worth doing. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santorini.

The Vasilicos is one of those rare resorts where the expectations are exceeded and better than the pictures, which are already awesome. We were in the Vassaltis suite which had access to the pool. The pool was heated and beautiful. The room was amazing with a very comfortable bed and dual rain showers in room the size of a small bedroom. Manos was an excellent host who thought ahead on everything and helped us navigate Santorini to its best experience. Chris was a very lovely porter. The service team was fantastic. And Summer the cat was a great mascot. Thank you for an excellent stay.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the Vasilicos during our babymoon. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and they really treated us like family. The property was private since there was a monastery on the hill above (no tourists walking through your hotel area!) and it had a spectacular view of the caldera. If we ever have a chance to go back, I hope we can stay here again!
