Comfortable bed. Good hot showers. I stayed in a queen room. The TV had no remote and they were unable to find me one when I asked. All I could do was turn the TV on and off...was stuck on Netflix but I couldn't watch anything due to having no remote control. Despite towel hire being available on the website. They do not offer it anymore so I had to go buy a towel to shower. No screens on windows and no fan available in the room. It was hot and stuffy. Very dusty. Dirty fridge. I wouldn't book again...compared to the other backpackers in Hobart it was quite bad.

Stayed another night on top of original stay as the beds were comfortable, staff friendly and attentive. Lawrence on reception was informative and polite. Wash rooms cleaned daily, piano in lounge with table tennis and pool tables as well.

Imperial is in a great location right in centre of Hobart. Easy walk to constitution dock. I would stay again
