Very handy for us. Lovely older building set in a lovely area, quiet and convenient. The bed was comfortable and the set up was fine, though the 2 TVs were a bit odd. A blind or window covering in the bathroom would have been nice, even though the glass was frosted, it felt pretty exposed. We would recommend it though.

Mixed feelings about this place mainly due to there not being any staff on site....apart from the cleaner in the morning. Building is lovely and room was spacious with everything we needed. Just felt spooky as some days we seemed to be the only people there. Room key card often didn't work so had to call a number and be guided to a "secret" stash of cards. Had to wonder how secure your room is. Handy location though!

Colonial style accommodation with a lot of character. Clean, quiet, comfortable and walking distance to the train station with free street parking out the front. “Check-in” process was unusual. Front door was propped open with a door stopper and there were a bunch of keys in envelopes on a table. I wasn’t too keen on the front door being constantly propped open as it didn’t seem overly safe given there didn’t appear to be any staff on site, however each room had a locked door opened only with a swipe card. Only person I ever saw was a cleaner that knocked on my door half way through our stay asking what time we were leaving. I would definitely stay here again. Short train ride from Olympic Park or only $14 in an Uber.

The hotel is great. So much character! The rooms are comfortable and really large. Shared bathroom was okay but hand towels (or even better, paper towels or a hand dryer) should be provided as there is no way to dry my hands after using the loo unless I take my bath towel with me (which would be weird , right?). We’ll definitely return but will book an ensuite room next time.

We had a very pleasant stay at Darcys in a very large room with sofa, table and chairs and a desk. Opulent! The king-size bed was very comfortable and with just a 5 minute walk to the train station, access to the city is easy. Check-in was very simple also.

Check in was easy, location is close to two train stations which is convenient. The room was a very nice large size with a good sized bathroom. Towels are a bit old and had holes, pillows lumpy. The whole building has a rustic feel to it which makes it unique with the furniture and decor. If needing to be in the area again I would stay here again.
