We have stayed at this lovely motel quite a few times over the last 12 years. It is always clean and tidy. The rooms have had a recent update, so they are lovely. It is a lovely walk into town of about 15 minutes. Two great pubs to choose from for dinner. Bakery and cafes for breakfast.

The decor of our room was dated but it was very clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet even though it was closest to the main road. The bathroom appeared to have been recently upgraded and the overall layout of the room made the most of the available space. In the right weather the small balcony would make for a very acceptable spot for a 5.00pm (or earlier!) re-hydration. It's a little bit of a walk to the main activities in town but all up it was very affordable and well worth considering if coming back.

This motel is a pleasant and quiet place to stay in the charming town of Penola. It is within easy walking distance to the shops and the numerous historical sites. Although a little dated, our room was spotless, and offered all the amenities required for an overnight stay.
