My only disappointments were the power points were hard to find under the bedsheets and no tea kettle in the room. The restaurant was very good and live music was a bonus. The location was outstanding for access to the Opera House, ferries, gardens.

I would recommend the motel for its location in The Rocks. So close to Circular Quay & Barangaroo! Bars, restaurants & cafes. The staff were friendly & helpful! I would suggest one or two nights particularly if the weather isn’t fine! The breakfast which was included in our deal was sensational! It was 4 terraces down the street from The Mercantile hence the name 4 Doors Down Cafe! I have already told a few of my friends about it!

The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic. It is located in the rock’s neighborhood. A 10 minute walk to the opera house and from the CBD. Lots of nice restaurants in the neighborhood. The hotel is in a pub and the bartender checks you in. Breakfast is complimentary and is available few doors down the hotel. The staff is very nice and friendly.

What a nice surprise and great location. Breakfast included. Small room with lovely crisp white bedlinen..bathroom ideal( just watch high step from room to bathroom). Think a kettle would be the extra wanted as sometimes an overnight cuppa required. My booking was well done and my arrival expected and with friendly greeting.

As soon as I walked in I was made to feel welcome. I just went straight to the bar to see if I could check in & they had one of their staff come over to me. This gentleman took my bag for me & took me up in the lift to the check in area. Once I was checked in he showed me to my room & let me know a few things about the room. It was close to circular key so transport was easy to get. If you don’t mind walking, the city is about a 30mim walk. Having breakfast included in the price was also a huge bonus. My breakfast that I had was so yummy. Check out time being 11am was also a bonus as it meant I didn’t have to rush in the morning. Highly recommend & would stay there again.

Love the old style pub and its history. Comfortable but showing its age, room was noise due to work being done on the block behind the building just outside our bath room window, but the bath room door was water damaged and could not be closed. Would stay again, there appears to be plans to do work on the build in 2024

The location was excellent, we walk here with our luggage from a cruise ship, it was 4 blocks. It is close to light rail, ferries busses and the train system. good dining at the pub and close to other dining venues. Close to the Harbor bridge with good access. An elevator would be helpful, but we were assisted with getting our luggage to the third floor. I would be happy to stay there again.

Great location but the noise wasn't appreciated. Not the hotel's fault. Council decided to clean the footpaths from 6.30 pm till late and then the building next door was undergoing renovations and started pneumatic hammering at 7.00 am. Destroyed my intended restful sleep. Great staff and food was excellent value too.

The location of this Hotel is amazing. Right in The Rocks and walking distance to Circular Quay, it doesn’t get any better. The staff were friendly too. Unfortunately though it is in dire need of some TLC. I believe they will be closed for renovations in 2024 which is very much needed. The bathrooms are in poor condition, with paint peeling and mould. The showers are poor, with either no water pressure or they don't get hot at all. The rooms were basic but comfortable. Overall, you get whay you pay for and for the price and a place to sleep, it met those requirements.
