I’m usually a hotel type of person and don’t book motels, but we needed 1 night last minute and I was impressed with the price and reviews of this property. I’m glad I booked it because it was great! Clean, nicely renovated room, keurig machine, easy access to the parking lot with ample parking and a super friendly front desk gentleman named Allen. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Once we got inside our room, the room was fine. With our late arrival (about 11 PM) we had to plead for the agent to respect our booking on hotels.com He left a key for us in a front door lock box of the inn. But there was a moment of doubt when he answered the phone at 10 PM and said “we have now closed”. Note: They need to leave coffee stirring sticks or plastic spoons to stir the fine coffee they offer in the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

We stayed for one night. When we first arrived, the outside and office looked simple, and we were unsure if it would be a safe place to stay. However, once we got our rooms, we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very clean, neat, quiet, and well maintained. Compared to other motels we have stayed at, this one exceeded our expectations. We reserved two rooms and both were comfortable and tidy. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. We would definitely stay here again and will book this hotel on our next visit.

The gentleman who checked me in went over and above to change my room to a ground floor room as I couldn't manage the stairs after surgery. I was able to park outside my room which was helpful as I needed to leave by 4am to catch my 5am ferry.
